A Weathered Apple

Retro Apple Desktop

Well, this is mostly the result of playing with some texture combinations, and some masking techniques. I liked how it turned out, and apparently so did some other folks since I’ve had lots of requests. So, here it is, enjoy! Full size is 2560×1600 for those of you with really big monitors.

    Talk about serendipity. Been looking for this wallpaper since seeing it in a mac tutorial on youtube a couple of months back and I have gone through almost all wallpaper sites but didn’t find it. This is one of the best wallpapers I’ve ever seen. Thanks. :)

    I have a brand new macbook pro – having moved away from “the dark side” !! This wallpaper is gracing my desktop like few others I’ve seen – it’s beautiful (so is “Framed” – I’ve got that one too.)

    just a problem :
    lighting for the apple logo and leather is not matched
    it would be more natural it you match them

    You should be able to hit the “download” link on the left of that page and get it at the full 2560×1600.
